Barcelona has officially announced the signing of Franck Kessie from AC Milan, MySportDab reports.
Franck Kessie joins Barcelona from AC Milan on a free transfer this summer, having completed his deal with the Italian side.
The Ivory Coast International has been registered by the Spanish, who were early unable to do such following financial issues.
The deal will see the midfielder spend the next four years with Barcelona, who bests other competitors for the player Chelsea also approached.
Franck Kessie’s new deal with Barcelona has a €500 million release clause on it which will make him unsellable to any team who approaches him within the period of its activation.
The agreement took a while for it to be agreed upon as other offers were on the table for Ivory Coast International, who had to decide.
AC Milan did offer a new deal with increased wages, but the player insisted on making a move elsewhere for himself.
Barcelona has now confirmed the signature of Franck Kessie on a four years contract that will run until 2026.
The deal is completed and official, but the Spanish club will make everything done on the 6th of July.
The official presentation will be happening two days from now, which is on the 6th of July, when pictures will be made available.
Barcelona Made it known via their social media page and official website following the announcement of the new signing.
Here Is What Was Said:
Barcelona is working on other signings they will bring in, including Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski.
For now, both deals look difficult due to the fee placed on them by their respective clubs, demanding too much.
Robert Lewandowski is expected to cost €70 million from Bayern Munich, while Raphinha is open to leaving for €60 million, which reports claims has been reached with Leeds United.
