The Blues submitted their offer to Leeds United for them to sign Raphinha, but unfortunately, he wasn’t looking to make a move to Chelsea despite an agreement reached.
The move was later completed by Barcelona, who made their offer, and it was accepted, with the player immediately jumping at the opportunity to move to Spain.
The same issue happened with their move for Jules Kounde, to who they submitted an offer to Sevilla, only for them to ignore sending back feedback.
Barcelona also did make their offer which was accepted, and a move was completed between both clubs involved in the negotiations.
Barca already made official confirmation about the new signing, which is pending medicals before it will be made public, and Jules Kounde will be a new player for them.
Chelsea are also doing everything in their power to make other moves happen this summer as they still need more actions to occur.
The Blues have a list lined up which includes Wesley Fofana, Presnel Kimbempe, and Benjamin Pavard, who are all expected to be signed before the window closes.
