A day after making his intention of leaving Old Trafford known, Man United have set a price tag for C. Ronaldo, MySportDab reports.

According to reports, the lack of ambition and perceived deadlock in the transfer market is one of the reasons the multiple Ballon d ‘Or winner wants to leave.

The failure of Man United to make it to the Champions League is another reason Ronaldo wants to leave.

The Portugal international has scored 24 times for Man United with 18 goals in the Premier League.

Ronaldo has asked United to allow him to leave if a reasonable offer is made to sign him.

United has ended the just-concluded 2021-22 Premier League season without silverware.

Meanwhile, new United Manager Erik Ten Hag indicated his interest in working with Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 37-year-old has been positive about Ten Hag’s prospect as new United Manager.

But it was revealed that Ronaldo wants Man United to show ambition in the transfer market by signing players.

Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has been said to be in talks with some top clubs to broker a possible Ronaldo deal.

Bayer Munich and Chelsea have been linked to a possible move for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Chelsea is yet to issue a statement on the speculations, but Bayern has denied speculations linking them to Ronaldo.

Manchester United is clear on Ronaldo’s future. They have said that Ronaldo is not for sale before Ronaldo’s statement of departure.

The Red Devils have been compelled to now ask for the £12.9m they paid to sign the player from Juventus.
