A Saudi Arabian club has now offered Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo a contract worth £250million, MySportDab reports.
Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United is currently uncertain after he asked to leave the club last week.
However, a Middle East club has now offered the 37-year-old an shocking amount of cash to sign this summer.
According to CNN, The club are ready to pay United a fee of £25m for Ronaldo to leave.
They have also offered him a salary worth £105m-per-season over two years for staying at the club.
The package also earns Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes £20m compensation.
United paid Juventus £12.85m to sign Ronaldo last summer, and the player signed a two-year contract.
Despite scoring 24 goals for United across all competitions, the Red Devils endured a difficult season and failed to qualify for the Champions League.
Now, Ronaldo is unhappy and asked to leave if the right offer comes in that will help Manchester United.
However, Coach Ten Hag does not want the Portuguese to leave this summer.
Ronaldo has not yet joined the rest of United’s squad on their pre-season tour of the Far East for personal reasons.
Ten Hag did not speak about Ronaldo’s future when asked in a press conference as United arrived Australia.
But, Speaking before United’s win over Liverpool in Bangkok, Ten Hag revealed that Ronaldo can not leave.
Ten Hag said: ‘We plan to work with Cristiano Ronaldo for the season. I’m preparing to work with him. Cristiano is not available. He is part of our plans.’
The Dutch coach added: ‘He’s not here due to personal issues.
‘We talked before everything and It was a good talk. That stays between us.’
