Manchester United are now one of many clubs closely monitoring the situation of Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko, MySportDab reports.
However, Austrian club do not wish to sell the player this summer.
Borussia Dortmund, Newcastle United, and Bayern Munich are all interested in the talented 19-year old.
But, Salzburg remain keen to keep Sesko for next season as he has already scored two goals in two matches so far.
They won’t change their mind until an offer around their £55m valuation is submitted.
Sesko’s agent got fans excited last week by sharing a post of himself dining out near the Tyne Bridge.
Newcastle were quick to dismiss the rumours and confirmed nothing has progressed in signing the player.
Newcastle still want to sign a young striker this summer.
For Manchester United, they are considering other options as they will get Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision on his future this week.
No talks have started to sign the 6ft 4ins Slovenian Sesko but he is a player that is considered as one of many alternatives.
Ajax winger Antony is also another name that has been mentioned at Manchester United.
However, Ronaldo remains keen to leave with Atletico Madrid looking like his only option.
