Manchester United Coach Erik Ten Hag has now made a decision about the future of Anthony Martial, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils Coach has now decided against selling Anthony Martial this summer.
The Frenchman has scored three goals in three match for Manchester United so far in their pre-season tour.
However, Ten Hag has now included Martial in his plans for next season as Ronaldo’s future is not yet settled.
The Manchester United hierarchy were expecting Martial to leave this summer after poor performances over the last two seasons.
But, no club has shown any interest in signing the player.
Martial joined Sevilla on loan last season but failed to make any impact and remains under contract at United until 2024.
Ten Hag played Martial from the start in matches against Liverpool, Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace.
So, the Frenchman is expected to leave United’s attack when the season starts against Brighton.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence from United’s pre-season has forced Ten Hag to use Martial.
Ronaldo’s situation remains the same as he has not yet trained for some time.
Speaking about Martial, Ten Hag said: “I’m confident that he can do even better. I think with the right focus and the right motivation he will become a good player.
“With the right focus, he will have production and it’s up to him.”
The Red Devils signed Martial from Monaco in 2015 and he has played 269 matches, scoring 79 goals.
