Erling Haaland’s miss Vs Liverpool in the Community Shield has now shocked world football, MySportDab reports.

Haaland made his first official debut for Manchester City today in the Community Shield.

He joined City from Borussia Dortmund this summer and fans had high hopes.

The Match started today with Liverpool in full control early on in the first half.

The Reds took the lead in the 17th minute thanks to a beautiful strike from Trent Alexander-Arnold.

After Liverpool’s Goal, Man City started to do more in attack but it ended 1-0 at half-time.

City levelled to make it 1-1 thanks to Alvarez in the second half but Salah scored from the penalty to make it 2-1.

Darwin Nunez got his first goal for Liverpool in the 90th minute and made it 3-1.

However, Erling Haaland now had a very good chance to get a goal and make it 3-2 but he missed.

A shot by Foden is parried by Adrian down for Haaland but his shot from close range hits the woodwork.

The Norwegian just gave a shocking smile after the miss like nothing happened.

Fans on social media have now reacted across different platforms.

One fan said: “Welcome to the Premier League Erling Haaland.”

Another fan said: “Haaland is not better than Nunez.”

A third fan added: “Never compare Haaland with any EPL striker.”
