Ajax have previously insisted on not selling the 22-year-old forward after they fell off on a loan move for Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech.
Ajax maintained they have just a few days left in the transfer market and may not be able to find a replacement for the highly-rated youngsters.
They had rejected two previous bids from Manchester United as they insisted on keeping the player.
Manchester United submitted a final €100m bid for the player, which pundits deemed a very tempting, irresistible offer for the Dutch champions.
Antony had already agreed on personal terms with Manchester United and was already scouting for a residence in Manchester.
In an interview with Fabrizio Romano, he made his intentions not to commit hai future to Ajax clear as he continued his push for a reunion with Ten Hag.
The transfer window closes soon, and this will be a good addition to Erik Ten Hag as he continues with the 2022-23 Premier League season.
Antony will be the second Ajax player to join Manchester United after Lisandro Martinez.
He will be Erik Ten Hag’s fifth signing after Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, and Casemiro.
