Chelsea have now officially announced the signing of Marc Cucurella From Brighton, MySportDab reports.
Chelsea will pay £55million upfront for Cucurella, and an additional £7m in bonuses.
Marc Cucurella’s £62m move to Chelsea makes him the seventh most expensive defender of all time.
The player completed his Chelsea medical on Thursday, after requesting to leave due to interest from Manchester City.
He is now the 7th most expensive football defender history
This is a massively profitable deal for Brighton, who signed him for only £15million one year ago from Getafe.

“Marc Cucurella has now signed a six-year contract as he joins Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion.”
The versatile defender joins the Blues after an impressive debut season in the Premier League with Brighton.
He played 38 matches last season across all competitions and scored his only goal against Manchester United.
Brighton fans and players voted to make the club’s 2021-22 Player of the Season.
