David de Gea Blames Himself for Man United 4-0 Loss Vs Brentford! (Details)

David De Gea has blamed himself for Manchester United’s 4-0 loss against Brighton, MySportDab reports.

The Spaniard said that he would have saved the first goal, and that would have probably changed the outcome of the game.

The Spaniard could be called for the first and second goal of the match against a lowly rated and newly-promoted Brentford.

A shot outside the box saw de Gea crumbling to the ground as he did to save the ball.

The ball slipped off his hands and slowly rolled and slithered into the goal giving the host a deserved lead.

De Gea was also implicated in the second goal. Instead of taking a regular goal kick and shooting the ball, De Gea chose to pass to Christian Eriksen,

Eriksen was dispossessed, and Jensen shot into the net to make it two goals for the host.

Addressing the press after the match, de Gea heaped the responsibility of the loss on his shoulder.

He said he would have done more to save the game for Manchester United, and things would have probably turned out different if the first goal had been saved.

Manchester United continues to struggle in the Premier League after two matches.

They have scored only one goal and conceded six against teams considered to be Minnows in English football.
