FT: Chelsea 2-1 Leicester City, Sterling Bags BRACE! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

10-man Chelsea have grabbed their second Premier League after beating Leicester 2-1, MySportDab reports.

First Half

The game started with Chelsea taking dominance of the match and trying to find a goal.

Seventeen minutes into the match, the Blues were up with 79% of the ball possession.

Brendan Rodgers needed to do something to avoid another fall here.

Three matches already, no win for the Foxes. It was too heavy a load to bear for a former Champion.

It was still Chelsea I control. Loftus’s cheek was brought down in the box, but the VAR denied the penalty.

The match continues, with Chelsea still in control. Thomas Tuchel watched from the stands as he served a one-match ban penalty.

Gallagher was sent off in the 29th minute for a rough challenge on Barnes – Chelsea was down to 10 men.

Leicester scored in the 35th minute, but the goal was disallowed by the referee fr alleged foul Mendy by Barnes.

The first half ended in a draw as both sides went into the break unable to score.

Second Half

The second half began with a great shocker as Chelsea to an early lead just two minutes into the game.

It was Raheem Sterling on the score sheet whose deflected shot looped over Ward into the net.

The 10-man Blues retreated to the defense to defend the goal as Leicester continued to mount an assault.

Two dramatic goals in the 62nd and 66th minutes.

 

Sterling scored again from Havetz’s cross to make it 2-0. Leicester equalized courtesy of Barnes’s strike to make it 2-1.

The game ended with 10-man Chelsea grabbing a crucial victor over Leicester
