Harry Kane scored the only goal as Tottenham beat Wolves 1-0 to move top of the Premier League table, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half had so much coming from both of the teams who did so much going forward, but nothing happened for them despite everything.
Wolves had some excellent opportunities of making something happen, but they couldn’t capitalize on them as their opponent had their defenders working so well.
Tottenham maintained good composure, but they weren’t that clinical enough to put the ball past their opponent’s goalkeeper, who had some incredible saves as the match carried on.
They approached the half-hour mark with the scoreline still goalless and Spurs doing most of the pressing with hopes of making it count, which proved very difficult to happen for them.
The first half didn’t provide anything much as it ended with Tottenham 0-0 Wolves, which they went inside after 45 minutes of no goal and plenty of action coming from them.
Second Half Report
Wolverhampton Wanderers had themselves to blame for their poor way of handling things which saw them unable to keep everything clean at the back.
Wolves maintained good composure at the back as they came in for the second half with their opponent pressing them hard to make something happen, which all failed.
Harry Kane scored for Tottenham in the 64th minute of the game after excellent teamwork coming from Ivan Perisic, who made the assist that gave Spurs a 1-0 as it carried on.
It was all looking good for Antonio Conte and his team, who were more relaxed after getting the lead which was well deserved after all the efforts they had to put in going forward.
The match came to a close with Tottenham taking a narrow 1-0 victory against Wolves which automatically puts them on top of the Premier League table for the primary time, pending other games.
