Manchester United Fans fought each other at Old Trafford after the Premier League Loss against Brighton on Saturday, MySportDab reports.
Things went from good to bad on and off the pitch as Manchester United lost their first Premier League game of the new season.
Man Utd Fans had high hopes of a much better start to the new season under coach Erik Ten Hag.
However, it did not go according to plan.
Erik ten Hag lost his first match at Old Trafford as Brighton won 2-1 to send fans into anger.
Pascal Gross scored twice for Brighton, but United tried to come back in the second half which resulted in an own goal from Alexis Mac Allister.
But, the match still ended 2-1 and the result did not go down well with the fans in the stands at Old Trafford.
The result increased tensions in the stands and a fight broke out in one area of the fans at Old Trafford.
In the video, a man can be seen holding the throat of another spectator.
Fans from the section below tried to get involved and diffuse the fight but it did not stop for some time.
Before the match, Ten Hag asked the fans to be the 12th player against Brighton.
‘If we show our commitment, i think the fans will like it and help us bring the fight back,’ the Dutchman said.
‘The stadium is meant to bring fight and co-operation.’
However, fans got the wrong understanding of Ten Hag’s statement before the match.
