Manchester United is now pushing for a move for Ajax Antony as talks are advancing, MySportDab reports.
Antony is strongly linked with a move to Manchester United following his former Ajax manager Erik Ten Hag who is in charge of the Premier League side.
The Brazilian is eager for the move as things are looking out despite his club confirming they are not ready to allow him to leave anytime soon.
Ajax manager recently came out aiming a deep dig at Manchester United, who he claimed are not playing Champions League football this season.
He went on saying they won’t be losing their player to a side who are not playing Champions League football this summer.
But things are now looking like they could reach an agreement as talks are now ongoing with agents of the player.
Ajax are said to value to the attacker at around €80 million, and many pundits have blasted the fee placed on the player, which they see as too much.
Manchester United are not backing out as they need to make sure they make more signings before the transfer window comes to an end.
The move could be one Manchester United need as they will be looking forward to unveiling Casemiro later in the week.
Antony move will add more quality as they will be hoping an agreement can be reached with Ajax, who might make everything complicated.
