Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard has now opened up about leaving the German champions very soon, MySportDab reports.
Pavard has now publicly shown his interest in signing for Manchester United or Chelsea later on in his football career.
Several European clubs were interested in the French defender this summer, but he was convinced to stay at Bayern Munich.
Now, Speaking in an interview with Telefoot, Pavard has revealed he got offers from ‘different clubs’ in the transfer window, but did not to rule out joining the Premier League.
He said: ‘I asked myself the question due to calls from different clubs to my agent. Afterwards, I spoke to the Bayern coach whom we have a good relationship.
‘He told me I was part of his plans, and an important player for the team. Maybe one day, I will will leave and join one of these clubs, you never know.
‘I still have a year at Bayern Munich. So, there is still time to project ourselves.’
The 26-year-old can play as a right back or centre half, showing his versality for the German club in defence.
He started Bayern Munich’s first five matches this season but has dropped to the bench for the last two league matches.
Pavard joined Bayern from Stuttgart in 2019, and remains under contract until summer 2024.
He has won the Champions League and three Bundesliga titles during his time with Bayern.
Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also interested in the defender.
