Brighton and Hove Albion officially unveil Billy Gilmour from Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

Billy Gilmour completed the move to Brighton And Hove Albion on transfer deadline day.

The midfielder has been struggling with game time under Chelsea and he has now decided to move on in his career this season.

Billy Gilmour was sent last season on loan to Norwich City and it wasn’t a good one for the player who barely get enough playing time.

It was so bad that the fans turned against him and the atmosphere wasn’t a good one for the player.

His return to Chelsea have now seen the club decide on allowing him leave as the player want regular playing time.

The Blues have made some serious business happen this summer before the window comes to an end.

And Billy Gilmour does not feel he has enough chances of making more playing time at Stamford Bridge.

The move to Brighton And Hove Albion happened for an undisclosed amount that is not revealed.

The deal is also a four year contract for Gilmour who could also make his debut during the weekend.

Reports reaching us confirm that there is a clause involved in the move which could see Chelsea buy him back.

Brighton and Hove Albion manager Graham Potter was full of praises for the new signing.

“Billy arrives with a fantastic pedigree, having played in the Premier League and Champions League as well as for Scotland at last year’s Euros.

“He will complement our existing midfield options.

“That experience at quite a young age shows the strength of character he has and we’re really excited by his potential.
