Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Christoph Freund as their new director of sport, MySportDab reports.
Talks were said to have been going on within the club who were looking to bring in a new director of sports since Marina left the position.
Todd Boehly has been handling things for the main time alongside Thomas Tuchel who unfortunately was sacked weeks ago over some differences issues.
They are now looking to make their move now which have seen them circling round RB Salzburg man Christoph Freund who is nearing an official announcement.
The Chelsea owners were said to have spoken to a lot of people who have recommended the man who is involved in bringing out Erling Haaland to become their new director of sport.
Discussion have been held with RB Salzburg to make the move happen and they have agreed on allowing it go through with them also looking to receive a compensation.
