Erik Ten Hag has now provided an update about Manchester United’s January transfer plans, MySportDab reports.
The Dutchman has revealed that Manchester United are open to bringing in new players in the January transfer window to strengthen the squad.
Ten Hag has played a key role in all club transfers since he arrived from Ajax in the summer.
He new plans to work on Manchester United’s structure going forward.
United have a busy schedule from October, playing 13 games in 42 days before the 2022 World Cup..
More than 10 Man Utd players are currently on international duty but the Red Devils face rivals Manchester City after the international games.
“These breaks are very useful,” Ten Hag told MUTV.
“We have meetings to attend and work on improving the structures in and around the club.
“We will also look at the January window or next summer as part of our plans but also to improve our playing by working more.
“Also, we have to get ready for the upcoming period of matches every three days.
“The players around will train proper and for the rest, they must prepare well and I hope everyone stays fit, and returns back healthy.”
Manchester United are considering options to sign a right-back, midfielder and a forward as part of their squad rebuild moving forward.
Also, the Red Devils will work on a long-term goalkeeper solution, given Dean Henderson is currently on loan until the end of the season.
