Algeria came from behind to hammer super eagles of Nigeria 2-1 in a friendly match, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
An incredible 45 minutes of football coming from both countries who did well enough in making sure they scored a goal before end of the half.
Nigeria didn’t take too long to score the opening goal which came from Terem Moffi who capitalized on his opportunity and made it 0-1 as the game carried on.
Algeria weren’t too bad as they started pressing to make sure they level things immediately against their opponent which didn’t happen immediately as the enter the 20 minutes still trailing.
More pressure was applied until the Super Eagles committed a foul which saw Riyad Mahrez stepping up and convert from the penalty spot to make it 1-1 in the 42nd minute.
The first half came to an end with Algeria playing out a 1-1 draw against Nigeria after 45 minutes of football which was solid coming from the both of them.
Second Half Report
The second half started well for both doing so much to make something happen in the game very early in the remainder of the 45 minutes.
Nigeria were shaky in how they handled the ball against the home side who were in total control and bossing the whole thing going forward.
Algeria took the lead in the 62nd minute of the game through a long range strike from Youcef Atal who was able to give his side a 2-1 advantage to seal the comeback.
The game continued with nothing else coming from them as the opportunities were still coming more in numbers and no one to put it into good use.
The match ended with Algeria sealing a 2-1 victory against Nigeria after coming from one goal down to complete a comeback and a win for the encounter.
