The Netherlands have secured all three points from Belgium courtesy of Van Dijk’s 74th-minute strike after a tense game, MySportDab reports.
First Half
The first started with both sides trying to outplay the other and come out with something from the game.
The Netherlands was pushing more for na early lead as the game started, but Belgium was equal to the task and were able to put the host on hold.

There were also menacing moves by the visitors who, once in a while, picked up the pace and embarked on great counterattacks to score a goal.
They continued with both sides balanced on possession for most of the game, but the Netherlands maintained a slight home advantage.
It was still barren as the game headed toward the end of the first half, with both sides not able to find the back of the net

Second Half
The second started with more pressure from both sides as they struggled to snatch all three points from each other with no breakthrough.
Belgium were looking more daring and unstoppable with the ball, with the likes of De Bruyne trying to silence the Netherlands midfield.
The host were equally balanced and threatening when moving forward, but in the final third, both lost momentum as the defenders showed class and composure.
A slew of chances were created by the team but converting them into something meaningful was the problem.
The game ended towards the final minutes with both sides still unable to find the back of the net and were not converting the few chances created.
Van Dijk eventually found the back of the net for the host, and all attempts to equalize by Belgium proved abortive.
Netherland maintained their narrow 1-0 as they finally ended after the final whistle.
