Erling Haaland goal wasn’t enough as Norway loss 2-1 away from home against Slovenia in the UEFA Nations League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
A beautiful first half encounter that came from both teams, but they couldn’t be able to make anything happen all through the 45 minutes of football played.
Slovenia started well in the match, knowing they had to keep up a solid wall against Manchester City man Erling Haaland who has been scoring goals for fun coming into the game.
It was looking good for Norway, who dominated things as the match continued to produce some magical moments which it wasn’t put to good use by them while they wasted all the opportunities.
Things weren’t looking to change anytime soon between them as they pushed further, with a lot seen between them while they were hoping for a goal to come through, which didn’t happen.
The first half ended with Slovenia holding Norway to a 0-0 scoreline after 45 minutes played between them for the evening of Nations League football.
Second Half Report
The second half opened up nicely as both teams could make something happen going forward, and the game was much more lively.
Norway scored the opener in the 47th minute of the game from an excellent finish from Erling Haaland with a good delivery from Mohamed Elyounoussi to make it 1-0.
Slovenia leveled things 1-1 in the 69th minute of the encounter, which came from a beautiful finish through Andraz Sporar as the match carried on further between them.
Another goal came in the 81st minutes from Benjamin Sesko who was able to make it a 2-1 lead for the home side who completed their comeback.
The match ended with Slovenia taking all three points with a 2-1 victory against Norway after 90 minutes of football played between them for the encounter.
