Gary Neville is on the neck of Todd Boehly again after his New York Conference speech on Tuesday, MySportDab reports.

The legendary Manchester United player slammed the American investors for his unpopular suggestion for the English Premier League.

Todd Boehly, at the SALT Conference in New York, had made a widely criticized suggestion on how the Premier League should be run.

Todd Boehly suggested that the Premier League should be tailored to American football league models.

According to him, the Premier League should be a league of stars where there is no relegation but permanently featuring top clubs.

Todd Boehly’s comment received a massive backlash from pundits, Premier League coaches, and fans alike.

Among the managers that have responded to Todd Boehly’s is Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp who laughed off the suggestion and blasted the new Chelsea owner for the suggestion.

Also, pundit and former Manchester United player Gary Neville had weighed heavily into the incident calling for an end to American investments in English football because they pose a real ‘danger’ to the game.

Taking to his Twitter Handle, Gary Neville wrote, ‘I keep saying it, but quicker we get the Regulator in, the better. US investments into English football are a clear and present danger to the pyramid and fabric of the game. They just don’t get it and think differently. They also don’t stop till they get what they want.’

Gary Neville’s clearly directed at Todd Boehly, who had made an unpopular suggestion to trim the English Premier League to the American model.

Gary Neville called for an end to American investments in English football as they are not helping the game.

Recall that the unpopular Glazers Family, who are the owners of Manchester United, are also American investors under whose watch Manchester United has fallen off the pecking order in the Premier League.

Todd Boehly has remained a controversial figure since taking over the reins at Chelsea.
