2022 Golden Boy Award: Jude Bellingham, Musiala And Four Barcelona Youngsters Top Nominee List! [SEE FULL LIST]

Borussia Dortmund, midfielder Jude Bellingham, Musiala, and four Barcelona youngsters have made it to the final 20-man nominees shortlist for the 2022 Golden Boy Awards, MySportDab reports

The Golden Boy Award, which was created by an Italian newspaper, Tuttosport, in 2003, saw Pedri emerge as the winner last year.

The award brings together top and promising youngsters of the game under 21 for recognition and awards.

Last year, Barcelona star Pedri clinched the coveted award after a brilliant performance with the Catalans.

This year, Borussia Dortmund’s Bellingham and Bayern Munich’s Musiala are leading other nominees.

Last year’s award winner, Pedri, is also on the list, including other promising Barcelona youngsters.

Barcelona had the most number of nominees, with four of its players nominated.

Pedri, Ansu Fati, Nico, and Gavi are the four nominees from the Catalan club.

If Jude Bellingham wins the award, he will be the third player from the England national team to win the award after Wayne Rooney did it in 2004 and Raheem Sterling in 2014.

Other top stars who have won the award include Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Paul Pogba, Erling Haaland, and Kylian Mbappe.

Some Premier League stars on the list include Tottenham’s Destiny Udogie, Liverpool’s Fabio Carvalho, and Leeds’ Wilfred Gnonto.
