Tottenham Hotspur have returned to winning ways at Elland Road as Harry Kane’s first-half strike secured all three points for Antonio Conte against Brighton, MySportDab reports.

First Half

It was a tough and engaging game between the Seagulls and the Spurs as Antonio looked to bounce back from the North London derby defeat to Arsenal.

The Seagulls drew their last match against Liverpool, salvaging a precious point at Anfield with a dramatic 3-3 draw.

Tottenham settled for a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal, their first defeat of the season.

The game against Brighton at Elland Road was a huge one as both teams tried to outplay each other.

Brighton surprisingly dominated possession and was threatening Spurs’ defense frequently.

The Roberto De Zerbi-led team took 54% of the ball possession against Tottenham’s 46%.

They fired seven shots with three on target, while Tottenham fired 6 shots with 2 on target as after the first half.

Despite dominating possession and pushing hard on Spurs, Brighton trailed the visitors since the 20th minute of the game after Harry Kane struck to give Spurs the lead.

The first half ended with the Spurs maintaining their narrow 1-0 lead as they went into the break.

Second Half

Tottenham did not more show much drive to build on their narrow lead as the second half began.

It was still dominating the game and driving their visitors to their own half.

Brighton increased the intensity and speed of their attack as they ramped up efforts to find an equalizer, all to no avail, as the game finally ended in a 1-0 win for Spurs.
