He added: ‘Some dreams are deception, right?’
His friend then acknowledges the situation and decides to stop recording the awkward moment on video.
In the end, De Bruyne did a ‘cutting neck’ hand gesture to show his dislike of the gift.
De Bruyne has prove that he is one of the best midfielders in the world this season.
He has developed a formidable partnership with new City signing Erling Haaland.
The midfielder has scored one goal and provided 10 assists in 11 matches so far this season.
Manchester City are now currently one point behind Arsenal on the Premier League table.
