Pierre Emrick Aubameyang scored as Chelsea beat 10-man AC Milan 0-2 in the UEFA Champions League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It wasn’t a pleasant first half for the home side who did everything in their power to make something happen but failed woefully.
Chelsea poorly with them having to soak in a lot of pressure coming from the home side who started with so much pace on their side going forward.
AC Milan were shocked in the 18th minute when Fikayo Tomori was shown a straight red card and penalty after holding Mason Mount in an attempt to stop him from scoring.
Jorginho scored in the 21st minutes from the penalty spot giving the Blues a 1-0 lead as the match continued with more yellow cards being shown in the game.
Pierre Aubameyang doubled the advantage in the 34th minute after another fantastic buildup saw Mason Mount setting up the Gabonese who was able to make it 2-0.
The goal was the last action which saw the first half of the encounter coming to an end with Chelsea taking a 0-2 advantage into the break against AC Milan.
Second Half Report
The second half started strong with the home side pushing back to make sure something good happen for them despite the disadvantage.
AC Milan did everything to make something happen but failed in so many attempts which they were all hoping to get one goal which could give them a fighting chance as it progressed.
Chelsea had some few opportunities of their own which they couldn’t make anything happen despite going close with Aubameyang missing one of the best chances on goal.
So much happened in the final few minutes which had Kai Havertz coming into the game in the 79th minute with hopes of making something happen.
The match ended with Chelsea taking all three points against AC Milan with a 0-2 win which send them to top of the group with seven points and two games left.
