FT: Arsenal 5-0 Nottingham, Gunners Reclaim Top Spot! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Gabriel Martinelli scored as Arsenal claimed a 5-0 win against Nottingham Forest to remain number one, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half was good between both sides who showed so much going forward but only one side was able to make something happen.

Arsenal started well dominating play while things carried on the pitch which saw Mikel Arteta passing out instructions as he want to make sure things go well.

Nottingham Forest couldn’t hold on for long as they went down 1-0 on the 5th minutes of the game which saw Gabriel Martinelli scored a stunning goal for his side as things carried on.

The away side had their opportunities but it wasn’t just too good for them as they were unable to capitalize and hit their opponent where it should have hurt them as the approach the half hour mark.

The first half didn’t have so much coming from both teams who headed inside for the break with Arsenal taking a 1-0 lead against Nottingham Forest after 45 minutes played between them.

Second Half Report

So much happened in the second half with the pressure starting off on the Gunners who needed to make sure they grab all three points knowing they were overtaken by Manchester City.

Arsenal made it 2-0 in the 49th minute of the game through a banging goal from Reiss Nelson who was able to double the advantage as the game continued.

Nottingham Forest went down further in the 52nd minute of the game with Thomas Partey assist saw Reiss Nelson making it his brace and 3-0 scoreline.

Another goal from the Gunners once again in the 57th minute of the game and this time it was a stunning goal from Thomas Partey who made the scoreline 4-0.

A 78th minute goal from Martin Odegaard increased the scoreline more to 5-0 as the match carried on into the final stages which was left to be played.

The match ended with an astronomical victory for Arsenal who claimed a 5-0 result against poor Nottingham Forest after 90 minutes played between them.
