Barcelona crashed out of UEFA Champions League after losing 0-3 against Bayern Munich, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was good coming from both teams, but only one side could make something good happen from their opportunities.
Barcelona needed a win at least to prove something knowing Inter Milan already sealed their fate of crashing out after their big win.
Bayern Munich scored the opening goal in the 10th minute of the match through a wonderful finish which came from Sadio Mane as the scoreline turned 0-1.
So much continued in the game which had the home side playing so badly as Erick Choupo-Moting doubled the advantage for the away side to 0-2 in the 31st minutes.
Alot of opportunities came through and nothing worked out as the first half came to an end with Bayern Munich taking a 0-2 lead into the break against Barcelona after 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
So much happened in the second half which was fair enough coming from both teams who put in so much effort in their playing.
Bayern Munich increased their lead in the 56th minute of the game after another wonderful buildup saw Serge Gnabry netting to make things 0-3 but the goal was later called off by VAR.
The game continued with Barcelona still 0-2 behind at their home ground which from their part they also could not do anything good as it progressed further.
They both continued to push through with some good opportunities coming through but it wasn’t solid enough to make something happen until a 90th plus goal from Benjamin Pavard made it 0-3.
The game came to an end with Bayern Munich thrashing Barcelona 0-3 which meant the Bavarians move on to next round and their opponent won’t be taking part in the UEFA Champions League any longer this season.
