Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 700th goal as Manchester United beat Everton 1-2 to move 5th on the Premier League table, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was good coming from both teams who gave it all their best going forward and it did paid off with goals.
Everton drew first blood with a stunning finish from Alex Iwobi from outside the box in the 5th minute which made it 1-0 in favor of the home side as it carried on.
Manchester United continued pushing forward with everything they had and it paid off in the 15th minute of the game when Antony hit the net with an assist from Anthony Martial to make it 1-1.
The game continued with Martial being removed following an injury which saw Cristiano Ronaldo coming in and went on to score his 700th goal in the 44th minute to put his side 1-2.
The match carried on and ended in the first half with Manchester United taking a 1-2 lead away from home against Everton after 45 minutes of football played between them.
Second Half Report
The second half started so well with a lot more coming from both teams who carried on with the same pace like they did in the first 45 minutes.
Everton weren’t too bad themselves going forward, but they were just not good enough to make anything happen despite how much of the opportunities they had.
It was looking good for Manchester United who had Marcus Rashford scoring another goal in the 81st minutes but the goal was ruled out by VAR due to a handball.
The match entered additional time with nothing yet happening in the game which the away side were still much ahead with all the advantage in the encounter.
The game came to an end with Manchester United taking all three points to move 5th on the table after beating Everton 1-2 at Goodison Park.
