First Half Report

The first half of the encounter was incredible coming from Manchester City who did everything possible to make sure they got things going in the match.

Brighton and Hove Albion started well in the first 20 minutes of the game which their defending was solid and they had everything working out the way they wanted it to be.

Erling Haaland scored the opening goal in the 22nd minutes after a fantastic display from Manchester City saw the Norwegian making it 1-0 from a clinical goal as things carried on.

He didn’t waste so much time in scoring his brace which came in the 43rd minute of the match from the penalty spot which was easily converted and made 2-0.

The goal was the last action as the first half ended with Manchester City taking a 2-0 lead into the break against Brighton And Hove Albion after 45 minutes played between them.

Second Half Report

The second half started so well with both teams coming out with the same pace they ended the first 45 minutes of the match.

Manchester City looked sharp in everything on the pitch but it was the away side who pulled one goal back in the 53rd minutes through Trossard who made it 2-1.

Brighton And Hove Albion were finished off as Kevin De Bruyne scored a stunner in the 75th minute of the match which saw things going 3-1 as the game entered the closing stages.

There was nothing else coming from both teams who carried on doing a lot more on the pitch to ensure they change the scoreline which didn’t happen at any point in time.

The match ended with Manchester City taking a 3-1 victory against Brighton And Hove Albion which push them back as number one on the table for the main time before Arsenal play tomorrow.
