Erling Haaland scored a brace as Manchester City thrashed Copenhagen 5-0 in the UEFA Champions League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Excellent work coming from Pep Guardiola side who made sure they were free flowing of goals from all directions in the entire of the 45 minutes.
Manchester City opened the goal scoring in the 7th minutes of the game after a wonderful delivery from Joao Cancelo which saw Erling Haaland finishing off neatly to make it 1-0.
Copenhagen had nothing much to do in the match which saw the Norwegian making it his brace for the night with another wonderful goal scored in the 32nd minute of the game making the scoreline 2-0 as it carried on.
Alot happened in the game which saw the Premier League side applying more pressure until an error saw Khocholava putting the ball inside his own net to make the scoreline 3-0.
That goal was the last action as the first half ended with Manchester City taking a 3-0 lead into the break against Copenhagen after 45 minutes of football played between the two of them going forward.
Second Half Report
The second half was just mere formalities which saw the home side completing the job they started in the first half of the encounter which was brilliant.
Manchester City added another goal in the 55th minute after a foul which saw Riyad Mahrez stepping up and converted from the penalty spot to make it 4-0.
Copenhagen couldn’t stop the goals from flooding in as another one soon followed after thanks to Julian Alvarez who was able to score in the 76th minute to make it 5-0.
So much opportunities continued coming by with nothing happening between both of them as they entered additional time which was more for the Premier League side dominating.
The game came to an end with Manchester City taking a 5-0 win against Copenhagen after 90 minutes of football coming from them in the UEFA Champions League.
