Victor Osimhen scored a late winner as Napoli claimed a 3-2 win against Bologna, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The game kicked off with both teams teasing each other as they got close to scoring in a couple of occasions in the early minutes but nothing happened.
Napoli were the better of both sides but they weren’t just good enough in front of goal as most of their opportunities were either going far away or not hitting target at all.
It was also the same for Bologna until late in the first half which saw Joshua Zirkzee scored in the 41st minutes giving the away side the lead which made it 0-1.
The home team replied back with a goal in the 45th minute of the game scored by Juan Jesus who was able to make the encounter 1-1 as they entered to last minute of the half.
The first half came to an end with Napoli being held to a 1-1 draw against Bologna after 45 minutes of football which was played between both of them for the encounter.
Second Half Report
The second half was a different ball game which saw the him side coming in with more seriousness as their manager had to bring in Victor Osimhen.
Napoli carried on searching for the lead in the encounter which came in the 49th minute of the game through a stunner from Hirving Lozano who made it 2-1.
More was seen as Bologna didn’t just sit back defending knowing they were under a lot of pressure in the game which saw them leveling things 2-2 in the 51st minutes through Musa Barrow.
The game carried on hitting the one hour mark with 30 minutes left to be played as Victor Osimhen scored an outstanding goal in the 69th minute of the game making it 3-2.
That goal was enough as the match came to an end with Napoli claiming a crucial 3-2 victory against Bologna which saw them retain their number one spot on the table.
