Taiwo Awoniyi scored as Nottingham Forest shock Liverpool with a 1-0 victory in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both teams had it good against each other in the first half which saw them holding each other back from making something happen.
Nottingham Forest had to face so much pressure coming from the Reds who were all over them pressing to make sure they score the opening goal very early, but it failed.
Liverpool dominated the entirety of the game which saw them creating more opportunities but they weren’t too good enough to make it happen for themselves.
The Reds were so dominant in the game that they had 74 percent of the ball possession but unfortunately they couldn’t make anything happen in the encounter.
The first half of the game came to an end with Nottingham Forest holding Liverpool to a 0-0 scoreline after 45 minutes of football played between the two of them for the day.
Second Half Report
The second half was good coming from the away side who continued with everything they have to offer to look for the opening goal of the game.
Nottingham Forest took the lead in the 55th minute of the game as former Reds player Taiwo Awoniyi smashed one home against the away side which made it 1-0.
The game continued with Liverpool left with nothing more than to make sure they find something of their own as the match carried on with so much more happening.
Nothing could happen for the away side who press more as they hit the 90th minutes entering the additional time which was announced later in the game.
The match ended with Nottingham Forest claiming all three points and a victory after beating Liverpool 1-0 to keep their hopes alive of jumping out of relegation zone for the season.
