Despite VAR help Arsenal didn’t survive as PSV smashed them 2-0 in the Europa League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The home side were disappointed all through the first half which was them against VAR which ruled out their goals which wasn’t a good one all through.
PSV started the game well between both teams going forward in the match which saw them doing everything to make sure they take their revenge from losing in England.
Arsenal were lucky to have not gone down in the match as they conceded but VAR ruled out the goal which saw the game staying 0-0 as they continued pressing against each other.
The game carried on with more being seen as Xavi Simons dribbled past four Gunners defenders before hitting the back of the, but it was called back by VAR who chopped off the goal to keep it goalless.
The first half ended with PSV 0-0 Arsenal as they both headed for the break after 45 minutes of football without a goal being scored by either of both teams going forward.
Second Half Report
The second half started with both teams coming on very strong against themselves as they plot to make something happen very early in the encounter.
VAR this time couldn’t save Arsenal as Joey Veerman scored in the 55th minute of the game to ensure his side took the lead 1-0 against the Premier League side who couldn’t hold things together.
PSV continued to enjoy massive control of the game going forward and they doubled the lead in the 63rd minute of the game which saw Luuk De Jong score to make it 2-0.
The game came to an end with PSV claiming all three points from a 2-0 victory against Arsenal who had VAR helping them but it wasn’t enough to keep them from being shot down.
