Karim Benzema missed a late penalty as Real Madrid were held to a 1-1 draw by Osasuna, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the game was a favorable one for the home side, who were able to make something happen going forward.
Osasuna was not too bad for themselves as they did well enough in making sure the defense was on point, with them having to deal with so much pressure.
Real Madrid did everything in their power to make something happen, but all their efforts were wasteful as the game carried on, hitting the half-hour mark.
The goal finally came in the 42nd minute of the game thanks to fantastic teamwork efforts, which saw Vinicius Junior making sure his finishing was perfect to make it 1-0.
The game continued with nothing else coming through as the first half ended with Real Madrid 1-0 Osasuna as they both headed inside for the break after an impressive 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
A lot happened in the second half of the game which saw them creating opportunities but nothing good could come out from everything that was done in the early minutes.
Osasuna were well organized in their dealings as it paid off with them getting the leveler in the 51st minutes from a wonderful goal which came through from Kike to make it 1-1.
The goal stunned Real Madrid, who struggled a lot to find a way to restore their lead immediately, which didn’t happen all at once for them.
David Garcia was sent off in the 78th minute for the away side after a reckless tackle resulted in a penalty to the home team which Karim Benzema missed.
The game came to an end with Real Madrid being held to a 1-1 draw against Osasuna after 90 minutes of football played between them.
