Harry Kane and Pierre Hojbjerg both scored as Tottenham beat Everton 2-0 in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was evenly balanced with both teams doing well enough in terms of defending but couldn’t score a goal all through.
Everton did an impressive job in making sure they didn’t concede a goal as they were faced with so much pressure coming from Spurs who wanted to make something happen.
Tottenham commanded more of the ball possession but unfortunately they couldn’t put it to good use as they were equally matched with their opponent who were good equally.
They hit the half hour mark with the scoreline still goalless and nothing good to talk about as they kept on creating opportunities which result to nothing more than a waste.
The first half ended with Tottenham 0-0 Everton which saw unable to make anything happen as the match came to an end with them taking nothing much after 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
More pressing for the Spurs in the early minutes of the second half which saw them doing so much to make sure they make something happen in the game.
Tottenham had to wait much longer until the 59th minute which saw Harry Kane is brought down by Jordan Pickford which saw the striker scored from the spot, later on, to make it 1-0 in the game.
Everton was left with no chance than regrouping and try to find a way of making something happen which didn’t happen despise all their efforts in pushing forward.
Pierre Hojbjerg scored another goal in the 86th minute of the game which saw the scoreline increase further to 2-0 from yet another wonder finishing.
The match ended with Tottenham taking all three points which saw them go level on points with Manchester City after beating Everton 2-0.
