A furious Erik Ten Hag is reportedly set for a showdown with Cristiano Ronaldo after he angrily exited Old Trafford in yesterday’s match against Tottenham Hotspur, MySportDab reports.
Cristiano Ronaldo sparked reactions when he angrily left Old Trafford in the 89th minute after he was not brought on in the match.
After a barren first-half draw, Manchester United picked up their pace and had a full grip on the game in the second half.

Fred opened the scoring in the 47th minute of the game to give the Red Devils the lead.
Bruno Fernandes doubled the lead for the Red Devils in the 69th minute to seal the win for the Ten Hag-led team.
Meanwhile, for the second time this season, Cristiano Ronaldo was an unused substitute in the game after he failed to appear against Manchester City in the 188th Manchester Derby.
With just a minute to the end of the regulation time, Ronaldo knew he would not be brought on in the game.
He angrily stormed down the tunnel to exit the stadium protesting his non-appearance in the game.
Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag, in a post-match interview, has reacted angrily over the incident.
When asked about the incident and whether he had spoken with Ronaldo before he left, Erik Ten Hag said he will deal with Ronaldo the next day and that he did not speak to him.
“In answer to your question, we deal with that on Thursday and what we have seen tonight was 11 players who defend, 11 players who attack. There was a lot of dynamic in the attack as well.”
“We will deal with that tomorrow. I did not speak to him before he left,” he added.
Ten Hag maintained that his focus was on the team’s big victory over Tottenham and the process of recovery of the team.
Ronaldo’s gesture is a climax of his frustrating experience under Erik Ten Hag after being reduced to cameo appearances off the bench.
He has only started two Premier League matches so far this season and is obviously unhappy with his situation at the club
