Two former Premier League icons, Rio Ferdinand and Jamie Carragher, are throwing tantrums at each other on Twitter, MySportDab reports.
The row has been triggered by Ronaldo’s Jamie Carragher’s comment after Manchester United’s 6-3 loss at Etihad on Sunday.
For the first time this season, Erik Ten Hag benched Cristiano Ronaldo throughout the match and refused to bring on the player.

Erik Ten Hag’s decision angered former Manchester United legends and pundits, including the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Roy Keane.
The former Manchester United players blasted the Dutchman for the decision in such a high-profile game.
Reacting to the position of Ferdinand and Roy Keane, Jamie Carragher says that calls for Erik Ten Hag to play Ronaldo are ‘laughable’ when Rashford was there for the game.
Reacting to Jamie Carragher’s post, Ferdinand wrote;
‘Carra you still upset he didn’t shake ur [sic] hand at Old Trafford? The hardest thing to do in football is score goals…’ accompanied by a video of the former United defender defending his former team-mate.
In the clip, taken from Ferdinand’s FIVE show, the 43-year-old said: ‘You can’t have your top goalscorer, who gets 20 or 25 goals a season, on the bench. I’m sorry.
‘People keep talking about it. Why are we so concerned with what people don’t do all the time? What’s he good at?
Carraher seemed to have been offended by Rio Ferdinand’s response. He tweeted a reply saying;
Rio I know how it works, he’s your mate & you/Evra & the rest are on the group WhatsApp & he asks you to come out & defend him. Don’t be his fan, boy you’re Rio Ferdinand for FFS!!’
Despite the Twitter, the duo ended on a playful note with Liverpool legend saying he wants Rio Ferdinamd to add him to the Whatsapp group.
