With the World Cup a big opportunity, some players shared their emotional reactions on social media.
Manchester United summer signing Antony shared the moment that he and his family realised he was in the squad.
The former Ajax played shared the video on social media with his family all in Manchester United jerseys but he wore a Brazil shirt, waiting for the announcement.
When his name is called out, his family burst into tears with huge celebration.
The United player becomes emotional as he will be playing for Brazil at his first ever World Cup.

In October 2021, Antony made his debut for Brazil in the World Cup qualifiers in October so this is his first major competition playing for his country.
However, There are some shocking omissions from the squad including more Premier League stars.
Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino did not get called up and Aston Villa’s Philippe Coutinho is currently injured.
Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes also did not make the squad despite his impressive performances this season.
Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli did not get called up due to Brazil’s available quality on the left wing with Neymar, Vinicius Jr all there.
Newcastle midfielder Joelinton, Flamengo forward Gabriel Barbosa, and Atletico Madrid forward Matheus Cunha also missed out on the squad.
