In a surprise move to mark his first World Cup debut, Antony has decided to give himself a special treat by securing a fresh set of wheels.

The former Ajax star bought a Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae for £337,000 and took to his Instagram to pose with the luxury vehicle.

He also showed when the beautiful and snark drive was delivered to his home in Cheshire to the glare of his fans, who congratulated him for his success.

Also included in the post was a video of the car being – carefully – unloaded to Antony’s home.

In the final picture, Antony is standing outside his house, with the car now sat in his driveway, as he poses with Riccardo Leighton – the man who organised the purchase.

He gave Leighton a signed Manchester shirt as appreciation for handling the purchase and delivering the drive.
