Cristiano Ronaldo AGREES Record-breaking Contract With Al Nassr! (Details)

Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed to a record-breaking contract with Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, MySportDab reports.

The former Manchester United forward had his contract terminated earlier this month after a faceoff with Man United hierarchy.

Ronald granted a controversial interview with veteran journalist and friend Piers Morgan which generated massive uproar from fans and pundits.

It was apparent that Ronaldo knew that would end the road in his second spell at Manchester United, hence the outburst and digs at the club’s hierarchy and manager.

Manchester United terminated his contract following the incident, and he was now a free agent playing in the World Cup.

There were interest in Cristiano Ronaldo from Saudi clubs, with Al-Hilal and Al Nassr among the clubs that expressed interest in the five times Ballon d’Or winner.

Now, according to MARCA, Ronaldo has sensationally agreed a two-and-a-half year deal with Al Nassr – worth an eye-watering £ 172.9 million per year – that will see him play until the age of 40.

However, sources close to the former Juventus superstar have maintained that no deal has been signed and that Ronaldo remains focused on the World Cup with his country. Still, reports in Spain today claim the ‘dizzying figures’ have been agreed.

In his interview, he said he had turned down a £305million deal from a Saudi club. He was keen on returning to Champions League football.

But since there have not been any authentic interest from top European clubs,  he will now be making a move to the Middle East as he enters the twilight of his football career.

Meanwhile, Al-Nassr is said to be one of the most successful clubs in Saudi Arabia, having being crowned winners of the country’s top flight nine times, with their most recent triumph coming in 2019.
