Casemiro scored as Brazil book next round ticket at Qatar 2022 after beating Switzerland 1-0, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The game started well between both teams who had it heated against themselves as thing progressed smoothly in the first half of the encounter.
Brazil had dominance knowing they were the better of both teams who saw more of the ball and they also did a lot to make sure they score but it did not happen for them at any point.
Switzerland were okay as they did all in their power to make sure they kept everything balance looking to hit on a counter attack which they did had but still couldn’t score a goal.
The game had so much competition and still nothing of a goal to record for either of them who still couldn’t find any way of scoring as they entered the 40th minute and things still remain goalless.
The first half ended with Brazil 0-0 Switzerland as they both headed inside for the break after 45 minutes of football which was played between the both of them.
Second Half Report
The second half was more of the same coming from both Nations who gave in all their best in attempt to make something happen going forward.
Switzerland were still in the game despite them being the second best when it comes to ball possession and also the number of opportunities created in the encounter.
Brazil had a goal in the 64th minute of the game scored by Vinicius Junior but VAR had to call everything back and the scoreline was cancelled and returned back to goalless 0-0.
Casemiro scored in the 83rd minute of the game which saw his country taking a 1-0 lead in the match which carried on between the both of them.
The match ended with Brazil booking a slot in the next round after beating Switzerland 1-0 in an entertaining encounter after 90 minutes of football.
