Andrej Kramaric hit brace as Croatia sealed a comeback move as they beat Canada 4-1 at the FIFA World Cup 2022, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Incredible stuff happened in the first half of the game which saw three goals scored by both teams who gave a good account of themselves.
Canada took the lead in the 2nd minute of the game which saw Alphonse Davies netting a quick one which made the scoreline 0-1 as things carried on forward.
The match carried on with a lot coming from Croatia who were eager to make a comeback in the match but they had to wait until the 36th minute of the game which saw Andrej Kramaric making it level 1-1.
More opportunities came through from both teams and nothing happened until the 44th minute which saw Marko Livaja coming into covert his opportunity which gave his country a 2-1 lead.
The first half of the game came to an end with Croatia heading into the break with a 2-1 advantage against Canada who couldn’t hold on despite taking the lead very early.
Second Half Report
The second half was more eventful with both teams doing well enough but just one side could be able to complete the job they start from the first 45 minutes.
Canada did well coming into the second half with more energy to ensure they level things which didn’t happen despite everything that came through.
Croatia held on to their lead making sure nothing hit them as they knew keeping their lead will give them a better chance of moving into the next round.
Andrej Kramaric scored another goal to make it his brace and the scoreline 3-1 in the 70th minute which Ivan Perisic provided the assist for the stunning goal.
Lovro Majer add another goal late in the match which saw the game coming to an end with Croatia thrashing Canada 4-1 to claim all three points and go top of the group.
