The USA held the Three Lions of England to a goalless draw in their second World Cup group game, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

A thrilling first half saw both sides struggle to exert dominance as the match kicked off.

England had gone into the game with the confidence of making it to the next round after smashing Iran 6-2 in the group opener.

Against the USA, the Three Lions had less space to flow with the ball and were constantly threatened by counterattacks.

The USA pulled some surprises, closed up, and dominated the midfield, especially the in the closing minutes of the first half.

They were more dangerous and frequently broke into the England box, but with no clear chance created.

England, on the other hand, tried to contain their opponents and rarely created a chance in the game.

Harry Kane was largely anonymous, hoping to cash on long through balls, but all to no avail.

Both sides managed only one shot on target throughout the first half and could not find the back of the net.

Second Half

After the goal deadlock in the first half, nothing really happened as the second half kicked off.

It was still a cagey affair between the two sides, who rarely exert complete dominance over the other.

Both sides made frantic attempts to break the goal deadlock, with England beginning to gain a slight advantage in the game.

But nothing changed as the game progressed; the USA were solidly giving a strong opposition to the Three Lions.

The game finally ended in a 0-0 draw as both sides shared the spoils.
