FT: Manchester City 2-0 Chelsea, Blues Crash Out Of EFL! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Manchester City crashed Chelsea out of the EFL Carabao Cup in a 2-0 result which saw the Blues continue their losing streak, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Both teams had so much to play in the first half which was filled with non-stop opportunities coming from both teams going forward.

Chelsea did well enough making sure everything was working out so well at the back with them having to make some changes in the team.

Manchester City had the upper hand in the game in ball possession which they dominated so well but couldn’t make anything happen with their control.

The game continued entering the 30th minute mark which didn’t see anything happen in the match as they could only create opportunities but no goal happened.

The first half came to an end with Manchester City Vs Chelsea playing a 0-0 goalless draw after 45 minutes of football played between them for the night.

Second Half Report

The second half was different from how it was in the 45 minutes which they couldn’t make anything good happen in terms of scoring goals.

Manchester City took the lead in the 53rd minute of the game after a wrecking goal from Riyad Mahrez which gifted the home side a 1-0 lead as the game carried on.

Chelsea were bad on everything happening on the pitch which saw Julian Alvarez netting another goal in the 58th minute which made the scoreline 2-0 with more happening.

Nothing else happened as they entered the 80th minute mark as the game Carried on with everything being a one sided affair for the home side who dominated.

The game ended with Manchester City advancing into the next round of the EFL Carabao Cup after a 2-0 victory against Chelsea after 90 minutes between both teams for the night of football.
