Goals from Alexis MacAllister and Julian Alvarez helped Argentina claim top spot with a 0-2 victory over Poland, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the game was impressive coming from both Nations who did well enough making sure everything proceeded as planned between them.
Poland started the game well as they looked dangerous going forward against their opponent who have more quality compared to what they had to offer.
Both teams had their moments as the game carried on hitting the half hour mark with still nothing good to write home about for the both of them who continue to press for more.
Lionel Messi was given the opportunity of putting Argentina ahead in the 39th minute of the game, but unfortunately he wasn’t able to convert from the penalty spot as the game Carried on.
The first half ended with Poland holding Argentina to a 0-0 goalless draw after 45 minutes of football which was played between the two Nations.
Second Half Report
The second half was where all the action took place with the Argentines making sure they finish the work which they were unable to make happen in the first 45 minutes.
Poland couldn’t hold on after the second half kicked off as Alexis MacAllister smashed one beating the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the game which made the scoreline 0-1 for his side.
Argentina added another goal in the 67th minute of the game through a goal scored from Manchester City youngster Julian Alvarez who was able to make things 0-2 as the game progressed.
The game carried on with a lot happening which the Polish couldn’t make anything come through knowing Mexico was already two goals up and just looking for one more to overtake them.
The match ended with Argentina claiming a 0-2 victory which meant they finished top with six points while Poland who lost were able to make it through despite how the game ended.
