David Beckham and Inter Miami are now working on an offer to sign Cristiano Ronaldo in January, MySportDab reports.
Ronaldo has been the main topic of discussion this week even since his shocking interview with Piers Morgan on TalkTV.
During the interview, Ronaldo slammed the current state of Manchester United, criticised manager Erik ten Hag and former teammates.
His remarks have now led to suggestions that his time at Manchester United is over.
According to The Sun, Inter Miami owner Beckham has spoken to Ronaldo’s agent about a possible transfer to his MLS club in January.
The report claim that Beckham received a good response from Ronaldo’s team but nothing is agreed.
There had been reports Ronaldo’s rival, Lionel Messi, is Beckham’s No 1 target for Inter Miami but now things can change.
Ronaldo is also now attracting interest from MLS clubs such as LA Galaxy and LAFC.
As he tried to leave Manchester, Inter Miami could be a final option for Ronaldo.
If he joined Inter Miami, Ronaldo would have to work under Coach Phil Neville, the brother of Gary Neville, who he heavily slammed in his interview.
With Gonzalo Higuian’s retiring from football at the end of the MLS season, there is a space for Ronaldo in the team.
However, Beckham also interested in signing Messi.
The Hierarchy of MLS football would be delighted to have such a big name like Cristiano Ronaldo and boost the profile of the sport.
