Second Half Report
Mexico stepped up their game as the first half began and mounted heavy pressure on Saudi Arabia for an opener.
It was not long before they finally broke the goal deadlock with just two minutes into the second half.
It was Martin on the score sheet as Mexico took a deserved 1-0 lead in the 47th minute to boost their hope of qualifying for the next round of the competition.
Five minutes later, Mexico recorded another goal to boost their chances with Chavez on the score sheet.
After going two goals up, Mexico still dominated the game and were looking for a third goal.
Surprisingly, Saudi Arabia put one back in the 90+5th minute to make it 2-1 in favor of Mexico as the game finally ended in a win for the Mexicans, who crashed out of the competition despite the win.
