France and Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has aimed a provocative Instagram post on Didier Deschamps after World Cup snub, MySportDab reports.

Karim Benzema dropped out of France’s 2022 World Cup squad after he suffered a thigh injury in Qatar in France’s training session.

Benzema is now fit to return to return to Qatar. Real Madrid confirms his injury return after he was spotted in the club’s training session and was featured in their last club friendly.

Los Blancos also granted Karim Benzema approval to rejoin France’s World Cup squad after his return from the thigh injury.

However, it appears the relationship between Karim Benzema and Didier Deschamps has been soiled after Deschamps’ recent gesture in a press conference.

The France coach was asked whether he will start Karim Benzema in France’s World Cup final against Argentina on Sunday.

Deschamps refused to answer the question and instead prodded the journalist to move to the next question.

His gesture was seen as outright disapproval of Karim Benzema’s return amid the rumors that the Ballon d’Or winner was set tot return to the team.

Responding to Didier Deschamps’ snub, Karim Benzema has taken to Instagram to post a picture of himself relaxed with his bushy beard and donning a baseball cap.

Karim Benzema added a provocative caption, “I don’t care,” to the post, believed to be directed at Deschamps for snubbing him.
