Cristiano Ronaldo has now been included in the 2022 World Cup Worst team based on stats, MySportDab reports.
The former Manchester United player barely performed for Portugal at the tournament in Qatar.
He scored one goal during the tournament, a penalty, and failed to start for their last-16 clash with Switzerland and defeat to Morocco.
According to reports, The 37-year-old free threatened to quit the Portuguese camp during a meeting with coach Santos but we believe those are fake rumours.
Now, Ronaldo’s misery has gotten worse as statistics provider SofaScore revealed their worst team of the World Cup.
The worst XI team is calculated with Sofascore’s rating, and each player is rated between 0-10.
Some of the players on the list had played only four matches in Qatar.
Ronaldo was included by SofaScore as the worst striker of the tournament with a rating of 6.46.
The Portuguese forward is joined in attack by Argentina’s Lautaro Martinez, despite him winning the World Cup.
Martinez got some chances to score for Argentina in extra time but failed and now gets a rating of 6.35.
The Inter Milan striker played only twice as a substitute in all of their World Cup games.
Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is the worst goalkeeper of the tournament, with a rating of 6.30.
Mendy struggled to impress for Senegal, and some his errors cost his country in the group stages.
The 30-year-old was no longer first choice at Chelsea before the tournament and failed to get that slot back.
In defence, Sergino Dest gets a rating of 6.50 alongside Kamil Glik, Bartosz Bereszyński and Senegal centre back Abdou Diallo.
